FERTILIZATION

GARDEN TRANSFORMERS

Many gardens require fertilization since the soil itself is not healthy enough to support the many distinct flowers and plants that residents adore and use to enhance the visual appeal of the property.

When employed with care, fertilizer can be the key to unlocking the lush green grass and vibrant flowers that so many homeowners aim for.

BOOST YOUR SOIL HEALTH WITH FERTILIZER

Rather than thinking of fertilizer as a meal for your crops, we advocate imagining it as a means of giving the dirt a little much needed nourishment.

For example, if your soil is lacking in potassium, your plants may appear stunted, as they're not able to generate new cells, and therefore are unable to properly grow. Guardians of the Gardens has plenty of experience working with garden, thus we are ready to supply you with valuable insight to how to accomplish, then care for, a flourishing garden.

Imagine how you feel when you haven't eaten well all day - your body is lacking the proper nutrients to keep you going, so you feel lackluster and tired. The same logic can be applied to your landscaping. If your plants are also running on empty, they behave the same way you do - not able to operate and worn down.

WORK WITH YOUR SOIL, NOT AGAINST IT

Even if you're doing everything you can, character can still be working against you. If your soil has a pH that's too acidic or isn’t nutritional enough to support the plant life you are expecting to cultivate, your plants are doomed before they have even been planted in the ground. In a perfect world, your soil's pH will be sitting at a comfortable 6.5, but that is not always the case. Thankfully, Guardians of the Gardens has the fix for you! Compost is a great way to achieve a healthy pH, while various different combinations of materials can increase or reduce the acidity of your soil.

If you are unsure what your soil's acidity is, Guardians of the Gardens will be happy to find out for you! Give us a call today and one of our experienced horticulturists will come by for a consultation at your earliest convenience.
